DAY ONE Part Six Dodging Gregory Berman's advances, Sam Redding and her friend Leeza Lockhart work their way through the concert crowd to join Mark and Amber. The free concert is a political celebration of the events of the day, a gathering of American's standing up for their Freedom of Speech rights. However, the festivities are quickly extinguished when the police circle the protesters. A police action publicly justified in the climate of imminent terrorism or a restraint on free speech and intimidation on those who would speak their mind against the government?
After the camera is knocked from the filmmaker's hand, cops start bashing heads. The concert is cancelled, arrests are made. Leeza Lockhart is arrested for trumped up charges of "Disturbing the Peace." Her bail is set at a ridiculously high amount to keep her in jail until after the event. Everyone else heads home, planning to come in even stronger the next day.
This is the end of DAY ONE. Go to the other Sections to continue the story.
